Therapy for Sex Addiction and Out-of-Control Behaviors

Freedom from Compulsive Behaviors

Are problematic sexual behaviors causing feelings of shame and affecting your relationships?

Our society is paying increasing attention to people’s struggles with destructive or compulsive patterns of sexual behavior, from affairs to excessive pornography use. Sometimes these behaviors are identified as a “sex addiction.” I work with men, women and couples of all ages who struggle in this area. I don’t use a rigid or formulaic approach. Rather, I help people feel safe enough to see their patterns clearly as well as understand what is driving their actions—which can lead to relief from problematic sexual behaviors.

Since June 2017 I have been an Associate Therapist at the Sexuality, Attachment and Trauma Project (SAT Project for short). The SAT Project treats individuals with problems in the area of sexual behavior. The SAT Project defines “sexual behavior" broadly. It is run by
Dr. Michael Crocker who, with his associate therapists, fosters a safe, healing environment where patients may not only get relief from present suffering but also address other core issues related to past or present trauma that may underlie it.  You can also seek treatment with me at SAT Project. To find out more or make an appointment, visit the Sexuality, Attachment and Trauma Project website or call 646-644-4280. To find out about therapists who treat sexual addictions from this perspective, you may also view my profile on The SAT Network website.
