I focus on the various ways we sometimes undermine our own happiness, fulfillment, and life potential, and I work with you to find a way forward.
In our sessions I'll draw from my training in psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and family-systems models, but I'm not rigid in my approach. Different things work well for different people. I help my clients figure out what's best for them. Sometimes I also make use of meditation and mindfulness if it's helpful.
Most of all I want to develop a safe, consistent, and compassionate alliance with you. Cultivating a working relationship based on trust, acceptance, and honesty allows us to get in touch with your authentic needs--and discover what might be standing in your way.
